About Us

We are Ziyana Foundation

Ziyana Foundation, formally established in 2022, is a non- profit organisation supported by Ziyana Business Consulting and Training (Pty) Ltd. Our main objective is to ensure that economic stability and growth is inclusive for all communities, especially those that are disadvantaged (young, black and women). Through the Ziyana Foundation, we aim to advance women through our women empowerment, mentorship and bursary programmes. Giving back to our communities is at the core of the foundation.

Ziyana Foundation is anchored by our three pillars:

Our Key Pillars

Empower

We dare not be happy with the status quo which excludes many women from the social and economic mainstream.

Impact

In the realisation and acknowledgement that there is a gap that needs to be filled in South African communities.

Transform

Building intentional and interpersonal relationships with the young and the old to help them gain the tools and skills.

Empower young women

We, as the Ziyana Foundation believe that it is up to us to ensure that women empowerment is a lived reality.

We dare not be happy with the status quo which excludes many women from the social and economic mainstream. By working together we can ensure a societal shift so that women can take their rightful place and contribute to the country’s socio-economic growth and development. Through the inclusion of more women in the economy, we can also stop generational poverty and in the process stimulate economic growth. It is for this reason that we continuously strive in promoting women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.

Through our Brunch With Noma’ Women Empowerment initiative which started in 2021, we create a safe space where women across South Africa are gathered to share their knowledge and experiences of their journey of evolving and succeeding in their career, and their personal and social lives. Ziyana Foundation is a firm believer that women should be intentional about creating safe spaces for other women to connect, engage, build and transform by impacting and equipping them through the inclusion of more women in societal structures in our economy as this will enable the process of stimulating economic growth.

We also believe that finding your space in the corporate world as women can prove to be difficult. At Ziyana Foundation, we have available mentors and coaches to share their experience, guidance and support as they take you under their wing in enabling your journey to success. Why walk the road alone when you can have access to mentors that can walk the journey with you.

Transform the lives of people

Building intentional and interpersonal relationships with the young and the old to help them gain the tools and skills they need to reach their full potential and positively contribute to their communities and their own lives through mentorship, support and leadership.

Impact our communities

In the realisation and acknowledgement that there is a gap that needs to be filled in South African communities, is where the greatest impact is made. This can be achieved through learning about communal issues and how to resolve them, using our resources to transform the communities including the art of alleviating barriers that the communities are challenged with through other creative means.  This is achieved through our Mandela Day initiatives, School Shoes and School Books initiatives.
